| An organization-wide
Leadership Development initiative was
carried out at an Automobile major for a
diversified workforce of 48 nationals across
9 countries with a manpower strength of
10,000. |

At the outset, a Human
Capital Capacity (HCC) Study was conducted
across the organization to determine the
capability of the organization to ramp up
for the upcoming decade
Based on this study, a
two pronged Leadership Development
Program (LDP) which was aimed at:
- An Accelerated program for the HiPos
within the Senior Leadership Team.
- MBA in
Executive Leadership via a tie up with
a reputed American University. It was an
18 month program comprising of 3
semesters. The batch of students would
travel to 3 different countries where they
would be addressed by Thought Leaders &
local Industry Experts.
- Business
Impact Projects (BIPs) involving real
business challenges and cost/expenditure
optimization targets.

- A leadership
calendar was designed comprising of
periodic workshops, feedback, and coaching
sessions by internal leaders and academia
experts to help participants traverse and
garner invaluable experiences through the
entire leadership development journey.
- The intervention
helped identify and develop the
Leadership Pipeline which was
subsequently fed into the Succession
Plan for the organization.
