Mr. Mervyn Raphael,

|
Mervyn Raphael is one of the founder members of Performance
Consulting International (PCI) in India. Over a 25 year
career, Mervyn worked with Hindustan Lever, AT&T and Mercer
HR Consulting. Mervyn was the ex- founder and Managing
Director of Mercer HR Consulting for its Indian/Gulf
operations, where he worked for 41/2 years and thereafter
was the Business Head for the Gulf region and other parts of
Asia. In his stint with Mercer, Mervyn established the
Leadership & Talent management practice and led key
assignments in this area as the “practice leader”.
With PCI, Mervyn has led several consulting assignments
primarily in the areas of Defining Vision, Mission & Values,
Organization structuring, Performance Management, Leadership
Assessment and Executive Coaching for companies such as SKF
Bearings, GlaxoSmithKline, HDFC Bank, Accenture, Genpact,
Sanofi- Aventis, Medtronic, Kennametal , Astra Zeneca etc.
Mervyn has also conducted coaching workshops for employees
in several companies.
Mervyn received his postgraduate degree from XLRI, a premier
management institute and an under-graduate degree in
Statistics from the Loyola College in Madras. Mervyn was
also certified at the training centre of AT&T in Dublin,
Ohio. Mervyn has also been a speaker at several forums
across Asia, Europe and the United States of America.

Mr. Dana Rahbar-Daniels,

Dana Rahbar-Daniels is Managing Director of Performance
Consulting International (PCI), a performance and talent
management consulting firm that serves the Asia-wide market
with operating offices in China, India, Malaysia and
Singapore. Over a twenty-nine year career, he has worked
with a wide range of organizations around the globe as a
senior principal in two major consulting firms and as a
corporate manager within the human resource management
field. Prior to founding PCI as co-director, Mr. Rahbar-Daniels
was the Asia Practice Leader for William Mercer Inc.’s
performance and talent management consulting services and
led many major consulting assignments throughout Asia. He
joined Mercer in 1998, serving previously as an HR
Consulting Partner in the US Performance and Rewards
practice of KPMG LLP which he joined in 1986. He was also US
national director for competency consulting services at
KPMG. Before entering the consulting field in 1985, he held
corporate positions as an HR director.
Mr. Rahbar-Daniels specializes in the areas of leadership
assessment, development and coaching programmes and centres,
career path systems, performance management systems and
behavioral and technical competency model building and
related HR applications. His consulting clients have
included global, regional and local businesses in industries
such as financial services, bioscience, manufacturing,
healthcare and government, including companies such as
American Power Conversion, AstraZeneca, Bank Negara
Malaysia, Barclay’s Bank, Singapore’s CPF Board, Coca-Cola
Enterprises, Ford, Hewlett Packard A/P, JTC, Mettler Toledo
International, Pfizer A/P, Pos Malaysia, Samsung Asia, Sharp
Electronics, SK Telecom, Siemens AG and Westport Malaysia.

Dana is a frequent speaker and workshop leader on innovative
and high impact approaches to performance management, talent
management and performance reward practices in various
industries, including presentations for Singapore Institute
of Management, Singapore Human Resource Institute, Singapore
National Employers Federation, Asia Business Forum, the CEO
Academy Series sponsored by EDB and the University of
Chicago Graduate School of Business, the Institute for
International Research, the International Quality and
Productivity Council, the Human Resource Planning Society,
the High Technology Council, U.S. Engineering Associates,
and the Society for Human Resource Management. He has been
published by John Wiley & Sons in Paying for Performance
(1998 and 2001 editions) and has also published articles and
been quoted on talent management and performance and rewards
issues in The Straits Times, the Wall Street Journal, the
WorldatWork Journal, the ACANews, the Boston Business
Journal and other professional journals.
Education
Dana holds graduate degrees from Brown University and Boston
University, and an undergraduate degree (honors) from Brown
University and took doctoral studies as a Graduate Teaching
Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University. He served on the
faculty of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and was a
Chapter Board Member of the Human Resource Planning Society
and the Society of Human Resource Management.

With a 20 year career spanning brand consultancy, HR
consultancy and internal communications Richard is able to
bring a broad perspective to the subject of employer
branding. He has led brand development and employee
engagement projects for a diverse range of international
blue chip clients including the BBC, BP, British Airways,
Coca-Cola, Fujitsu, Shell, Thomas Cook, Unilever and
Vodafone. His recent books on the subject include: ‘The
Employer Brand’ – Bringing the best of brand management to
people at work” and ‘Internal Communication – from
Information to Inspiration’.
